Summary of Captain Underpants And The Wrath Of The Wicked Wedgie Woman

The pages are p. 1-176 it have forward and ch. 1-29. I like this good book and it an epic novel by Dav Pilkey. If you want to check out this book go to the library and pick it up.

This is George Beard and Harold Hutchins. George is the kid on the left with the tie and the flat-top. Harold is the one on the right with the T-shirt and the bad haircut. Remember that now. At most schools, the teachers try to emphasize "the three Rs" (Reading, 'Riting, and 'Rithmetic). But George and Harold's teacher Ms. Ribble was more concerned with enforcing what she called "the three Ss" (Sit down, Shut your pie holes, and STOP DRIVING ME CRAZY!) While this was unfortunate for all of her students, it was especially bad for George and Harold, because they were very imaginative boys. You see, imagination was not really encouraged at George and Harold's school-in fact, it was discouraged.

"Imagination" would only get you a one-way ticket to the principal's office. This was sad for George and Harold, because they didn't get straight As, they weren't sports stars, and they could barely walk down the hallway without getting into trouble....See what I mean?!!? But George and Harold had one thing that most of the other folks at Jerome Horwitz Elementary School didn't have: Imagination. They were full of it! And one day they would use that imagination to save the entire human race from being overthrown by a crazed woman with even crazier super powers. In chapter 2 said One fine day, George and Harold's homeroom teacher, Ms. Ribble, entered the classroom looking a bit meaner than usual. In chapter 3 said Ms. Ribble went around the classroom handing out envelopes, sheets of construction paper, and butterfly stencils to all of the children. Then she wrote a poem on the chalkboard.

Long story short she made Robots called Robo-George and the Harold 2000. The author biography said "He has written and illustrated numerous popular, award-winning books for children. The Adventures of Captain Underpants, which has more than a million copies in print, was an American Bookseller Pick of the Lists and a Publishers Weekly "Cuffie" Award winner of the Funniest Book of the Year; Dog Breath was awarded the California Young Reader Medal; The Paperboy was chosen as a Caldecott Honor Book; and his four latest Captain Underpants books were all national bestsellers in their first weeks of publication. Dav Pilkey also illustrated the IRA-CBC Children's Choice Award-winning Dumb Bunnies books. He and his dog live in Portland, Oregon." In book 5 in September 2001.
