Summary of Ricky Ricotta's Mighty Robot
The pages are p. 1-112 it have ch. 1-14 and the bottom is fun stuff on ch. 4, ch. 11, and drawing. I like this good book and it writing by Dav Pilkey and pictures by Martin Ontiveros. If you want to check out this book go to the library and pick it up.
The mouse name is Ricky Ricotta who lived in Squeakyville with his mother and father. He loves living with his mother and father. In chapter 2 said Ricky loves school, but he did not like walking to school. This was because he was very small, and sometimes bullies picked on him. In chapter 3 he went outside for recess they play kickball. In a secret cave above the city, a mad doctor was planning something evil. He created a Mighty Robot. In chapter 5 he got mad because his robot refused to listen to him.
He zapped the Robot with a terrible shock. Ricky was watching. So he aimed a kickball at the evil doctor as hard as he could. The kickball bounced off Dr. Stinky's head. Dr. Stinky dropped the controller, and it broke on the ground. In chapter 6 He got home from school. Told his mom and dad can I get a pet. In chapter 7 the robot helps out.
It was to big for a pet. He had a super breath to blow all the leaves out of their yard. His dad liked that. He scared all the crows out of the vegetable garden. His mom liked that. He sacred the burglars drove by their home. Everybody liked that! He sleep in the garage.
Long story short they kept the robot. The author and pictures biography said "Dav Pilkey created his first stories as comic books while he was in elementary school. In 1997, he wrote and illustrated his first adventure novel for children, The Adventures of Captain Underpants, which received rave reviews and was an instant bestseller-as were all the books that followed in the series. Dav is also the creator of numerous award-winning picture books, including The Paperboy, a Caldecott Honor Book, and the Dumb Bunnies books. He and his dog live in Portland, Oregon. It was a stroke of luck when Dav discovered the work of artist Martin Ontiveros. Dav knew that Martin was just the right illustrator for the Ricky Ricotta's Mighty Robot series. He also lives in Portland, Oregon. He has a lot of toys as well as two cats, Bunny and Spanky." To go to the website is http://www.pilkey.com and http://scholastic.com/titles/rickyricotta/index.htm
